2012 Running Rangers Program - Lakewood Park

The 2012 Running Rangers program concluded this morning with one last jog around the "Lakewood Park Loop".  This year we had over 70 participants register to run two mornings a week, meeting by the Kiwanis Pavilion.

A major factor into the success of the program was Janet Trentel, who spearheaded the effort to increase participation, ensure that all runners were having fun and coordinated a "cross country" race course for the group to end the program.  Janet is an invaluable asset to the strength and success of the Running Rangers.

The program was divided into two age groups who meet twice a week.  They would do calisthenics, stretch and build endurance for the upcoming cross country season.

A special thank you as well to Bill Trentel, Stephanie Toole and Eileen McGuire for all of the help towards the success of the program.
