Recreation Registration Update

The Lakewood City Schools, Community Recreation and Education Department offers community education, aquatics, and athletics programming for adults and children of all ages.

Online registration is presently available for many of the Department’s programs.  The Department has recently announced that online registration will be available for more activities.

Beginning mid-February, online registration will be available for youth athletics and for LRST registration, provided that the participant has a valid birth certificate and physical on file with the Department. 

Until now, physicals had been required for athletic league participants, including LRST, ages 10 and up.  Physicals are now required for all athletics and LRST participants, regardless of age. 

To prepare the registration system for the online function, the Department must first accomplish a significant data entry process, expected to be complete by mid-February; however there may be unexpected delays to the process.

Registration is now open for summer 2012 youth baseball.  Register before March 1 to save with the Early Bird Discount!  Registration deadline is March 31.  Click here for more information.

Also, some enhancements to the registration process for adult athletics have been implemented.  Now team registration and individual player registration can be completed online.  Once an adult athletics team is registered, individual players may registration directly to the team online, by phone, or in-person.  This eliminates the need for a roster form and the time consuming process of registering the entire roster in person at the office.
