The Lakewood Community Baseball Association (L.C.B.A.) is looking to fill 3 openings on its board for the upcoming year.
The L.C.B.A. is a sub-commision of the Community Recreation and Education Commission, who provides input and oversight to L.C.B.A. L.C.B.A. is dedicated to creating self-esteem through preparation, determination, focus, commitment and sportsmanship of youth ages 6-18 years old in Lakewood, Ohio, via the game of baseball.
The ideal candidate will have expertise, or experience in the areas of youth baseball, providing program development/participation and community outreach. Quarterly meetings, participation in league activities and community events, are among the time requirements. Each board member serves a 3 year term. Individuals who are interested in promoting youth travel and recreation level baseball with passion and pride should submit a letter of interest and a statement of qualifications to Ms. Leslie Favre Krogman, Coordinator of Lakewood Community Recreation & Education Department/Fitness Facility by Thursday, February 17, 2022 either in person, by mail (13701 Lake Rd, Lakewood, OH 44107) or email (leslie.krogman@lakewoodcityschools.org).
The Community Recreation and Education Commission will evaluate all applicants in its February 22nd meeting.
