USCG AUX-Sailing Skills & Seamanship

U.S. Coast Guard Aux. - Classroom introductory sailing course emphasizing nomenclature, how a boat sails, sailboat maneuvering, navigation rules, aids to navigation, engines, knots, trailering, VHF marine radio procedures, and weather.  USCG Auxiliary and Ohio boating certificates issued.  NASBLA approved.  Possible insurance discounts.  Materials fee is included in class fee.  Class Min 10/Max 30. Material pick will be available at the Lakewood City Schools Recreation Department prior to class (14100 Franklin Ave., Enter through door #31). If materials need to be mailed there is an $11.25 additional fee.
